Cassady

Cassady, PH.D.

Cassady is the Data Manager. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology with a major in Criminology and minor in Family from Bowling Green State University, a master’s in criminal justice from Boston University, and a B.S. in Psychology from Central Michigan University. Prior to joining Burt Lab at Michigan State University, she worked as a Research and Methodology expert. Cassady has presented on the subject of methodology and statistics both professionally and on her YouTube channel assisting faculty and students since 2015. Her primary research interests focus on examining economic disadvantage and juvenile violence and race and religious discrimination. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and continues to further her research. In her spare time, she is active in her community overseeing a women’s outdoor adventure group, singing in a quartet, and spending time with her daughter.
