Mikayla is a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Program. Broadly, her research interests are on digital aggression (DA; more commonly known as cyberbullying). DA is an emerging public health crisis given the ever-increasing use of social media. She has a particular focus on the interactive relationship between the individual characteristics and the technological features that increase DA perpetration. She hopes to use this research to inform and develop prevention and intervention efforts that will reduce the frequency of DA. Mikayla enjoys yoga, spending time with her pets, watching sports, and traveling.
