 RESEARCH ASSISTANT OF THE MONTH

nOVEMBER 2021: KAYLA GUNN AND JENNY WARKENTIEN

Kayla is a senior undergraduate student majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology as well as minoring in Cognitive Science and Human Behavior and Social Services. She plans to attend a graduate program to receive her masters and doctorate in Clinical Psychology with the hopes of becoming a neuropsychologist in the future. Her interest in the lab stemmed from learning about twin studies in her past classes, and she is very excited to experience this firsthand.

Jenny is a senior at MSU majoring in Psychology with minors in Cognitive Science and Human Behavior and Social Services. After graduation, she aspires to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology to administer research and/or practice clinically. She is particularly interested in examining the degree environment and genetics play a role in behavior, mood, or psychopathology. During her free time, she likes to go hiking, hula hoop dance, and cook.
